Over the industrial Revolution, our cities, humanity, and their lifestyle have been shaped unconsciously by this revolution.
Biological designs are important to reorganize people’s lifestyles and our cities to human nature.
The first step in the design process is to consider how biological design can engage people through the city? Through this question, we defined the life around the site. The site is located in Istanbul and the middle of Europe and Asia, therefore site is highly visited by people because of its view.
What are algae?
Algae are a diverse group of aquatic organisms that can conduct photosynthesis. Through photosynthesis ability, algae take CO2 from the air and produce O2. Algae also can be used for feeding, electricity production, and raw material to create some products
According to this analysis, the core idea is to create a public space with a biological platform that includes algae pools, green walls, vertical farming combined with art to increase social sustainability.

The structure which is next to the restaurant has diffrent functions. One of them is acting as a carrier to the platform, other is prevent to take sunlight to the inside directly, and lastly it is used for vertical farming. The stored water delivered the structure through the water pipes and this provides to grow vegetables then these vegetables can be used in the restaurant.
